Adoption is woven into the fabric of our family—because it’s our story, too.

Before anything else, we know God has adopted us into His family.

Our lives have been shaped by the quiet strength of love that goes beyond biology. Because of our own upbringings, we’ve seen how family can be formed in unexpected, beautiful ways, and how chosen love leaves a lifelong impact.

Over the past year, we’ve felt God gently and clearly calling us to step into that story again - this time as parents. As we prayed about adoption, we felt a clear and specific calling: to walk alongside a local mom and help create a story of hope right here in our own community. We knew we were being invited not just to grow our family, but to be part of something tender, redemptive, and deeply personal. That calling led us to the brave woman who is trusting us with the incredible gift of raising her baby.

Her story is sacred, and it’s not ours to tell—but it has changed our lives. What we can share is our deep gratitude for her courage and the incredible gift she’s giving. This summer, we look forward to meeting the baby who will join our family, and stepping into a brand new chapter of this unfolding story.

“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of
the oppressed, then your light
will rise in the darkness,
    and your night will become
like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always;
    he will satisfy your needs
in a sun-scorched land
    and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
    like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient
ruins and will raise up the
age-old foundations;
you will be called
Repairer of Broken Walls,
    Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”

Isaiah 58:10-12
